Go to any homeless shelter, soup kitchen, or adult literacy program and who is volunteering their time and energy?
A lot of those women are retired teachers! Working for free! For the common good of the society!
God bless the hard, working dedicated teachers who many times go far and beyond the call of duty!

@yakyakyak69 Actually, the politicians have been giving the money to the capitalists, who own the media and thus are able to put out whatever propaganda they want, deceiving the voting public into continuing to support the same politicians.
The social unrest is because the public is seeing through the capitalist media screen.

Liberty & Democracy can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largesse out of the public treasury.
After 100 years of "progressive" redistribution, over 50% of the people have become addicted to and dependant upon feeding at the public trough. The social unrest is because that trough is empty.
Politicians buy power OVER the people with the money they steal from the makers to buy votes from the takers.
The trough is EMPTY!! The TAKERS rebel!

@yakyakyak69 Blah de blah de blah. The greater the wealth gap, the greater the social unrest. You might realize that if you weren't yakking so much. And it's because CEOs choose to line their pockets rather than create jobs. Redistribution provides support in times of disaster, shared treasures like libraries and parks, and opportunities for work.
The gov't distributes wealth as the electorate allows it to.

Again, Redistribution (individual or corporate), the EVIL child of Hubris & Envy is Pandora's Box, when opened it makes SLAVES of the taxed, DEPENDANTS of the recipients, TYRANTS of the powerful and CRONIES of the politicians all in the name of "helping" some by enslaving others.
Why does it matter to you WHAT the CEOs make?
The problem is that gov't CAN redistribute from and to anybody who they choose including YOU!

@yakyakyak69 Right, because the saintly "job creators" NEVER try to influence government policy in their favor.
In 1970, CEOs made $25 for every $1 the average worker made. Due to technological advancements, production and profit levels exploded from 1970 - 2000. An in-depth study in 2004 on the explosion of CEO pay revealed that, including stock options and other benefits, CEO pay is more accurately $500 to $1.
Saintly capitalists NEVER exploit workers.

@ClixDis Correct! Progressives use gov't to TAKE as much as they can from those "evil capitalist" job creators in society. Progressives are GREEN with ENVY so they LOOT from the "rich" keeping as much as they can while playing the "good guy" by giving some of their stolen loot to others.
It's like the mob boss supporting charity because it makes him look good.
Did I use "Mob Boss" in the same context as "Progressive" or "Collectivist" or Marxist or ANTI-Liberty "Liberal"?
