My Russian is not the best (so I did understand only a little bit of your comments) and I'm not from Estonia either - so it's actually not my business. BUT from a neutral point of view:

1. the size of Estonia, the number of Estonian speaking people: Indeed Estonia needs to protect its language, Russian is not endangered at all.

do you know how Narva became russian speaking city? because estonians were NOT allowed to go to live to this city and even not allowed after war in 1945 and russian occupation of estonia go back to their homes. they were sent out and russians were invited to live there...
