I no longer play Age of Conan, so my information may not be up to date, but when I did play they certainly did have an NPC city; Conarch Village (or something along those lines). If you open the world map in-game and look near the top you will see it.

Yeah, it should run fairly well for you, but I'd suggest more RAM (at least 1gb more if possible).
