ALPHA is awesome. We held our first course last summer/fall and it was such a great time of learning, answers, and laughter! I learned so much and am now ready to help conduct this course! I recommend it to everyone who is breathing!!

sorry but alpha seems like a cheap way to convert people who are vulnerable and have problems in their life by superimposing the need for a god to answer them.

@sweetsweatyfeet : If life was all about logic, then I should think that we would all be skittish freaks. Christianity is not about 'logical deductions. It's about faith - about believing in something that cannot be seen, but something that guides us. It is one of the scariest things for a non-believer - trusting in faith. Maybe you should try it with an open mind next time. Cheers!

I was urged to take Alpha even as a nonbeliever. I can happily report that after the Alpha course I'm more convinced than ever of the madness that is Christianity.

There is nothing logically convincing about it. It became clear (despite claims to the contrary) that believers have abandoned reason and critical thinking in favor of faith and wishful thinking.
