Auckland Speedway driver Carl Wilson has come through a massive high speed crash unscathed after his Sprintcar was launched into the new safety fence during a heat at last night's Western Springs World Sprintcar meeting.

So glad that the HANS device is used in pretty much all race series now! It has saved so many drivers from serious injury or worse. Always good to see a driver walk away from a big smash
