Answers Conferense with Dr. Terry Mortenson

On March 3, 2011, Campus Bible Fellowship is hosting two lectures at Wayne State University by Dr. Terry Mortenson.

1-2 pm in room 289 of the Student Center, Dr. Mortenson will present: "Evolution: Assumptions, Religion, and Science". We constantly hear the mantra: "Evolution is science, creation is religion." or "Evolution is proven scientific fact." Really? In this revealing presentation, Dr. Mortenson shows from the words of the evolutionists themselves and examples from biology, geology and paleontology that evolution is really a philosophy, a worldview, a religion.

7-8 pm in State Hall Room 134 Dr. Mortenson will present: "Noah's Flood: Washing Away Millions of Years." In this presentation, Dr. Mortenson explains the Biblical evidence that Noah's Flood was a historic, global catastrophe. Then, he presents some of the growing geological and fossil evidence for this event and a catastrophic understanding of geological history.

Dr. Terry Mortenson is a popular lecturer with Answers in Genesis. With a PhD in history of geology from the University of Coventry in England, Dr. Mortenson has been studying and speaking on the creation-evolution controversy worldwide since the 1970s. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL.

Both sessions are free and open to the public.
