  • It's so weird to hear him talk. For me anyways. His voice has always been his guitar.

  • @EvianBaby he dont sound the same as he used to., cancer and cigs he lost a third of his toungue in surgery too

  • ah ed your still the mad scientist we all know and love.

  • moral of the story: value your health. don't drink and don't smoke.

  • blah, blah, blah, he seems so disinterested and still sounds haggard as hell. We heard this same speech everytime he started with another company.

  • @BrianMorrison71 uh, Ed played Fenders back in the day. Matter of fact Cathedral was recorded with a Fender. Tell ya what. I'll take Eddie Van Halen's work of where the guitar came from any day over some yahoo with a few snapshots. ok?

  • @bandit7498 I've got pics of him playing it in the LA club days. It had a 60's strat neck with rosewood finger board and a white pickguard with the humbucker and the red pickup in the neck position. it's a strat plain and simple. Why do you think he went to fender to get the replicas built...

  • @BrianMorrison71 I have seen numerous intervies with eddie and he has stated time and time again that he built the frankenstrat from parts he bought for around $200. The guitar was not a premade guitar. You may have seen him with a strat but it is possible to own more than one guitar.

  • @BrianMorrison71 you're full of shit. that guitar was not a Fender Strat. Just because you might have seen him playing with a Strat doesn't meant that guitar was one.

  • He's full of shit. The original Frankenstrat started out as a 60's Fender Strat with a rosewood fretboard. I've got pics of him playing it back in the club days with a white pickguard and very few stripes on it. At some point he stuck the cbs neck on it. that whole 130.00 boogie bodies story is a crock of shit.

  • @fritolayketchupchips You can't get "high quality" shoes anymore, unless you pay over $100. And who the fuck has that kind of money... except Eddie? LOL!
