Driving to Big Pink

A road trip to Big Pink, the iconic house in West Saugerties, NY that was home to The Band in the late 60s. Big Pink was one part residence, one part clubhouse, and one part recording/rehearsal studio. One of the finest albums from the 60s, "Music from Big Pink," was conceived there, and many tracks from Bob Dylan and the Band's "The Basement Tapes" were recorded there. A true American landmark.
