I Think, The Sandinista! is the best album of this band, actually, my FAVOURITE band. Sorry for my bad english, Im From Argentina but I love the Clash more than my mother haha. Im Serious...

I can listen to the radio today, but it never moves me, I wonder if anyone can ever do what these and the Beatles done. Being real, raw men, making beuatiful music, to lubricate the world.
Theres music down here (not only up in heaven), but I say it's all in the past, and on discs.
By the way, great video you put together. Fits well with the music, real good job

@notthebannerboys They changed it up a bit. The Ochs lyrics were:
Allianza dollars are spent
To raise the towering buildings
For the weary bones of the workers
So they will be strong in the morning
to go back again.
And it is a bit strange that lyrics from such an obscure song landed here. Ochs has never been a household name, but even amongst his biggest fans, United Fruit isn't particularly well known.

Fantastic vid, great job. I love this song and The Clash. I lived on the Noth Peckham Estate for years and kow the Aylesbury and the Heygate estates you show. I also spent a lot of time in Brixton/Loughborough. My sister lived in the big block opposite the westway the next one along from The Clash. So this song means a lot to me and that vid really goes with it. Cheers

so relevant with regards to the current unrest in London
You cant live in a home that should not have been built
by the bourgeois clerks who bear no guilt

good job ....thanks!
First, thank you !
Actually, I found the old footages on the Web, searching things coming from London and its estates. So, I don't know exactly where did the "Jesus Saves" come from but it's in London ! (maybe Brixton ?...)
