Rirron..I agree with you 100%. It is kind of amazing to see someone one second saying "these are rare" and watching them place them in what appears to be a not so good basement, stack them what looks like as much as 50-100 lps high, and blow smoke right into them! ..but I guess, if you spent your hard earned money for them you can treat them however you like.

I'll be on the lookout for Joann Garrett, thanks for the tip!! BTW it's bad to smoke in the same room with your collection, and your gear... the smoke is VERY acidic and deposits sticky tar all over everything (best if U stop, 'cause it'll tear U up) Hope this helps, I'm also a Motown fan :D

Over the years, smoke gets inside and damages the covers. it leaves this "philm" on them that really gets nasty after a while. They also begin to smell. I try not to buy large collections from smokers because they really stink up my house.
