Personaly, I do not see anything wrong with his testimony. It takes a man to stand up and admit that he was wrong. Some people should think about what they are saying before they post on here. God Bless Him!!

@MethodistPreacher --- It's called respecting our elders. Vestal and Howard spent more time on their feet singing and praising God and more time than that on bended knee that if anyone, regardless of age, deserved those 'cushy' chairs, the Goodmans did!

I knew Calvin back in the 1960's and he was already into trouble....always loved his singing and am happy that he got to "sing" again!

@JefferyHunt I'm not sure what testimony you were listening to from Calvin, but I heard the message loud and clear. That we can and will be forgiven by Christ and that our brothers and sisters in Christ can also forgive us.

God is so good,to forgive and forget. Thank you Jesus. Love your music Calvin.

NOW that is one classy singer man. that guy has such a smoothness and annointing to his voice that its hard not to feel something when you hear him sing. Praise the Lord for Grace. God is good

I often send this video around the world to try and offer hope to those in need of some guidance and hope.

Bless you Calvin.
Could someone let him know that I pass this link onto the blog sites in Fiji to encourage them there to forgive those who have oppressed and abused their families and friends under the present coup there.
Raw Fiji News, Solivakasama & coupfourpointfive.

hoover4000, It is so heart rending to see all the Saints in this video who have gone home. Thank God the videography of You Tube allows us to see all of them when we want. Thank you, your work in posting the videos has greatly blessed me and thousands of others.

J. Hunt is right. Unless anyone who has gone the way that Calvin did can look past all of the human help and emotions and build a strong relationship with Christ, they won't have the strength to stand their coming trials. I don't think it was right to write a book about his failure, though. The Bible says it is a shame to even speak of those things sinners do in secret. Who did it offend?-probably his father and family. Who did it benefit?- Maybe the author. Why exploit his weakness?
Why does Vestal and her old man always get the fancy soft chairs...who determines who's special and who's not? my but gets sore too sitting in a folding chair too...it doesn't know Vestal...it knows it wants her seat!!!

the older ones usually got different chairs, to make them more comfortable i suppose, most of them had a lot of health problems. the younger ones can deal with it more lol

Well, I don't know what Cal believes but his testimony doesn't really express anything about the true Gospel. That being said, I think he's one of the best singers I've ever heard and his voice is amazingly powerful! I'm definitely going to try and collect the Sons of Song records.
