Everytime I hear this song, the tears flow from my eyes thanking the Lord for his precious blood that cleansed me from my unrighteousness and saved me making me one of his sons. My childhood pastor just recently went home to be with the Lord and one of the things that he wanted done was that Amazing Grace was sung at his funeral. Praise the Lord, that was done.
