06/09/11 - The market finally bounced on Thursday and it looked like a pretty good rally, but we'll have to see if it will last. There's still quite a few stocks that we're following that look good, and are extending and breaking out. Let's take a look at some of them. http://www.TheTechTrader.com
ADA-ES, Inc. (ADES) over the last two or three session has broken out with a big breakaway gap, formed a little two-day consolidation, and then on Wednesday and Thursday it started to move up again. There needs to be more volume, but the stock closed up 93 cents to 17.23, or 5.4%. It had a big down gap from April that it may try to fill, so look for something up towards 20 - 20 1/2 short-term. http://www.TheTechTrader.com
Caliper Life Sciences, Inc. (CALP) made a significant move on Thursday. We added this one to our swing trade portfolio. This stock popped, up 36 cents to 7.36, or 5%, and closed not far off the session high. It may be headed for a quick move up toward the 8 - 8.25 level, short-term. Coffee Holding Co.Inc. (JVA) had a huge day on Thursday. It was the stock of the day, opening at 9.12, going all the way up to 12.85, and closing at 12.14, up 3.64, or 43%, on 3.8 million shares. By far the biggest volume this stock has ever seen. It may not be done yet. Look for a gap up, and more upside potentially, however, it may just stall in this area and consolidate. Orsus Xelent Technologies Inc. (ORS) had another big day on Thursday, popping 91 cents to 2.39, or 46%, on 1.8 million shares. That's very heavy volume for that stock. It's in a strong pattern and if it gets through 3.57 - 3.58, this stock could explode up toward the 4 1/2 - 4 3/4 range short-term, longer-term perhaps the 5 - 5 1/2 - 6.00 range. http://www.TheTechTrader.com
