- Little Voice Mastery: Have you ever heard of Blair Singer ?
He's sales trainer, book author and Rich Dad advisor. I first heard of him when I started my Rich Dad coaching programme last year. In the coaching programme, I liked his contribution to the subject of sales.
He compares different types of dogs with different types of salespeople and concludes that every type has the potential of becoming a successful salesperson.
He also talked about the "Little Voice" inside of us, which is actually really little but which wants to keep us small if we allow it.
And I said to myself:"Yes, I have that Little Voice, too."
Watch this video in order to learn what I allow my Little Voice to do with me, from time to time.
Blair Singer wrote this book called "Little Voice mastery" and it offers amazing tips to manage our little voices.
I find it refreshing that he writes about his own little voices in a very open and honest way -- these are the paragraphs where I couldn't help but laughing because I realized:"That's me, that's me. I also have several little voices. I'm not alone, I'm normal !"
I think admitting that we have little voices that tend to hold us back if give them the power to do so, is the first step of managing them.
Blair Singer thinks we can't get rid of them, but we can manage them. We are the boss of our little voices !
He offers a great variety of tools to manage it in every situation. Our responsibility is to recognize that we allowed this choir of little voices to control us on auto-pilot.
I recommend this book ( and a CD set that's also available) to every person serious about their personal development.

I can totally relate to this Oliver with being more nervous speaking in my native language than English, definitely when it comes to Network Marketing. I think it's just because everything I do within this field is in English and sometimes it's just hard to translate and I think it sounds silly. But yes, that is just this little voice telling me that and most of the times I can tell it to be quiet, go away and then I'm fine. It's amazing to grow to be able to do that.

Hi Maria,
isn't that interesting ? I guess that some unfavourable past programming doesn't work in a foreign language. What do you think ? Thanks for your comment.
Take care

@luckyoliver70 Good point Oliver. All network marketing I was doing in Sweden in Swedish was very unsuccessful (before I found MFF) and then it's all been English. Does make you think, doesn't it... Fear of critisism and rejection in Swedish but not so much in English... hmmmm...interesting indeed...

Hi Maria,
thanks for expanding on this. I guess our guards only speak our native language and not the foreign language ;-)
Take care

We all have the little voices and the chatter can get pretty loud at times Oliver. People who acknowledge these voices are in a better position to eliminate the ones that are sabotaging their success. As we grow we get better at identifying the voices that do not serve us and we can quiet them down.
Great Video Oliver.

@lifeboost
Hi Stephane,
the important thing is to control them and not to get rid of them.
Thanks for your comment.
