Serene ,beautiful music prepares the busy mind to enter into the stillness and silence of prayer. It will create a meditative atmosphere. Play it softly before or after your meditation exercise; merely listening to and absorbing the music will help you to feel the deep inner stillness of meditation.
So contemplative music is another excellent way to prepare for meditation. Serene music fading into silence may help ease you into a still place . At the end of the meditation period, graduated quiet music can gently lead you out of meditation.
