My friend suggested that my hair may have an issue with cones. In an effort to solve this "residue" problem, I took a look at all of the ingredients of all of the products in my home. Each of them had Dimethicone in it. I decided to go to Target to find products that don't have cones. I realized that most of the products I used when my hair was relaxed, and even erroneously during my first natural journey had cones in it, which is probably part of the reason why I felt my hair was so difficult (besides the fact that I wasn't used to it being natural).
