I never quite understood Starcraft, when ever a pro plays and I watch all I see is his mouse moving furiously to build things and rush. It gives me a head ache

The fun is what the game gives back compared to what you put in. Some people just like that feeling of being a commander and the tactics of it.

I do not get strategy games. I don't see how they are fun. Maybe I need to give them a fairer chance... but I downloaded the Shogun 2 demo and couldn't even understand where the fun came in. Guess I'm a more hands on gamer or something.

@TheSamurai110 There is no LAN on Starcraft 2. It sucks and there is a lot of controversy over it.

You can still have a LAN party, but you'll have to connect to battle.net regardless.

That said, it's a damn awesome game to play with friends, IMO the best part of it. :-)

@MarkusAndersen342 What? Its his direct view, not a cast. What you're saying he's clicking to is PRECISELY what you're getting to learn. Though, somewhat this is reduced since he's not playing absolutely focused (and you see how his resources are under-used).

But there are LOTS of 'strategy sc2' games on youtube. Goo..gle?
