  • Dai people speak Chinese? I think the presenter spoke Chinese to the people.

  • Dai = Thai = Shan = Siam = Lao = Lue. It's all the same. They all originate from the same people, so don't be surprised.

  • Water festival has a religious origin. Those who practice Theravada Buddhism have this festival. It's not who's copying from whom. It's like all Christians celebrate Christmas.

  • Dai is Tai lue/Thai lue. same as Thai and Lao. Thai and Lao came from Dai/Tai

  • almost the same with very heavy accent

  • That is  interesting. Is the language the same or different? The Americans once came from England but now they speak completely differently.

  • The Thai are from the Dai.
