Making A Crab Net Pt 1 of 4

Here is a retired Chesapeake Bay Waterman showing his expert technique to making a net for crabbing on the bay. It is an age old craft that is dwindling as is the commercial fishing on the bay. @castuckey **The distance between the 2 posts for a 3inch mesh net using a one and one quarter inch ring is 3 inches. The ring is made from number 4 copper ground wire wraped around a 1 inch pipe with the ends soldered togeather.
