Acute diseases may be preceded by a shorter or longer prodromal period which is then followed by a crisis. They reach a climax, usually with clearly marked and characteristic symptoms that resolve themselves either in cure or death.

Chronic diseases are conditions that develop slowly over a long time and drag on if they are not treated. Unaided, they have no tendency to cure but can lead to untold suffering.

Acute diseases cover childhood diseases like measles and chicken pox, coughs and colds, attacks of sickness, diarrhoea, laboured breathing, and anything which is short-lived and a one-off. If such things recur then we are getting into the realm of chronic disease. Homeopathy is effective in treating both types of disease.

  • Do not fucking use Homeopathy for meningitis or any acute disease.

Always speak to a trained medical professional, rather than a snake oil salesman.

  • What a load of toss.
