Bands like The Choir (from NE Ohio) and The Standells played on a TV show called The Big Five Show (later Upbeat) on WEWS (Cleveland, OH). Great times which I miss greatly. Music today just isn't the same.

In 2010, I asked a local concert/event promoter to have the CKs to play in my town. My town still isn't ready for these guys. Hell, my town wasn't ready for them back in the 1980s.

When I close my eyes I can feel the sound from the 60s. And..........I really love that period of raw and honest garage rock music. My hobby is to rediscover all the great bands that did´nt "break through". Listen for example to The Misunderstood and of course a band from Scandinavia called THE ZETTLERS. Check up their versions of "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah" from 1965. What a bloody "drive".
