To a point I believe this in a necessary evil to be able to do what best for the country as a whole, however it is clearly abused by some parties... not gunna name any.

I thought slavery was abolished in Canada? Apparently not!
You can still "whip" a free standing, democratically elected, representative of the people.
If this isn't political intimidation, I don't know what is!
