  • I must be doing something wrong, everytime I tried this position I get caught on a toe hold... at exactly 1:05 in the video when the leg connects to his chest... what am I doing wrong? or how can I avoid it? anyway thanks for the video!

  • @fpassere make sure that you pass the leg down very fast, I was only pasuing breifly for the video to show you the detail. once you attack the back go right for the neck and they will let go of the foot ! ... hope that helped

  • Yes No Gi you would use wrist control

  • I grab the side of the belt so that my hand does not get stuck

  • Thanks a ton for the feedback guys, het if you get the chance, check out my New Gi company Zombie Kimonos

  • @ufcmm wrist control works or really anything you can make a grip on !!!

  • ESSA POSIÇÃO SÓ FUNCIONA DA FAIXA ROXA... NA MARROM E PRETA FICA VULNERAVEL O PÉ E O JOELHO... NÃO É UMA BOA POSIÇÃO

  • Cool ! Realy was looking for details of that move. Thanks.

  • This is freakin beautiful

  • @ZombieBJJ It also helps to put that leg on the ground for as long as possible, swing it around in the shortest possible motion. If you dont control the sleeves in de la riva guard, you are indeed in danger of getting submitted by the toe hold.

  • The Mendes brothers showed us to keep your dela riva hook, grab the belt and take your extended foot ant put it above the belt on the near hip then extend... this puts him on the mat then spin just when he lands on the mat! Rather then spinning before , though I do like your version as well! Cheers!

  • Thanks!
