-remove heatsink and thermal paste
-preheat oven to 385F (200°C)
-bake for around 8min

Please note that the cooking oven(NOT the microwave oven) has to be preheated at 385F (200°C) before putting the card in it. Cook your card for around 8 minutes.

The procedure requires you to lay an aluminum foil beneath the card so that heat can be reflected, also make sure the card is raised using small aluminum balls. Aluminum foil keeps the oven safe in case anything goes wrong.

You need to disconnect everything from the card and clean the dust before inserting it in the preheated oven

  • what's the title of the song please?

  • @secur4d Pryda - M.S.B.O.Y

  • how long does it work for and what are the risk of baking it?

  • @urbanrivalking mine lasted 1month and then same problems as before...

ive heard from other people that heir cards lasted longer...

there are no risks if you follow instructions!

  • It became obvious when I disassembled my 8800GT video card that I would need to replace the thermal pads as well. If you replaced the ones in your card, what thickness pad did you use and where did you purchase them?

  • @TheCoreLogic i didnt replace them...i only replaced thermal paste.
