    No. It is a knitting technique, "shadow knitting", using only knit and purl stitches. Simple technique with a dramatic effect :) And this is pretty darn detailed!

    Are people still impressed by this in 2012??. Each line is spaced far apart and you can only see the picture from the side when the lines are brought together... not all that difficult.
