I might have misunderstood. But, Rand seemed to imply there might be legal reasons you can not put a president on trial for their criminal actions? Or was he speaking moral? His opinion was he would not want to put Bush on trial?

I hope the more I hear of Rand the more I don't dislike the things he says. In terms of the last administration he's surely missing the mark on war and torture.

I have to say I admire Rand for saying he would have voted for the war in Afghanistan on the Taliban on antiwar radio. Shows me he has the guts needed to be a good senator, not just a political "whore" like many politicians who try to appease everybody. I agree with him too, I just don't like the fruitless nation building which ensued and our endless war there. I don't see any good reason to be there now. We aren't going to magically fix the nation, just look at our nation.Nothing can be perfect
