... is still a BLOODY problem.

contrary to the title this video is more about the media ranting and raving about stuff they don't do enough research about than whether or not global warming is a problem.

I personally believe that global warming isn't as big a deal as it is made out to be.
However we still have a responsability to our planet and world wide environment, we only get one of these and we shouldn't fuck it up.

as long as you question what the media (including me) tells you then you'll be ok.

  • It stills is a real pwblem that you can't pronouce problem :) lol kidding, good vid that raises and talks about important issues

  • I just saw this comment.

    you speech impediment hating meanie!!!

    *sulks*

  • Hoo ha eh?

One study does not a scientific consensus make.

I'm very glad you acknowledge that environmental problems still exist. I think maybe you are doing the same thing that you accuse the media of doing...taking one research study and going off on it just isn't good science. But I do appreciate your thoughts and that you put energy into be balanced in your presentation.

  • I wasn't meant to be endorsing completely that study, I know very well there are problems, but the most important thing is that we question what is shoved down our throats, and this study was doing just that, so I liked it. Doesn't mean either party is right though.

  • oh pshaw who doesn't like it when the media manipulates data to make people freak out about the next big catastrophe.

but realy thanks for that enlightening fact it's kind of a relief that the world won't end as soon as we thought.

Oh it's not so bad living in NY. Cool kids smoke right? so lung problems make me cool.

They should use the money they spend on scaring everyone silly about the melting and refreezing ice on researching how to find alternative energy sources etc.

  • exactly!

and i feel bad about the new york comment now...

i don't want you to have lung problems :(

and long comments are the reason i get up in the morning

    :D

  • I really like this video. It helped explain a ton to me. :[}

Also, I loved the cards in the backround. They kind of made my day.

Thanks for posting, and good luck with your Youtube thing. ^^

  • ctd) would be MSW generation. All over the world, solid waste management (or storage of trash) is a growing public health hazard. The diseases spread by unsanitary environments (think streets filled with garbage in cairo and lagos, open dumping in Beijing, Mumbai, & guam) and the vermin it attracts claims millions of lives each year. Only, unlike global warming which the negative effects will take place in the far future, sanitation and MSW disposal affects every continent (except antartica) NOW

  • I clicked on this video by chance, but I'm really glad I did. It mirrors my position on global warming exactly. For years propaganda was spread on Arctic winter and Global cooling. now It's global warming. people don't realize that science changes constantly, and what we thought might have been true yesterday does not necessarily apply to today, and it is not worth the panic it generates. that being said, this doesn't mean we have no env. problems. I would argue the most pressing issue now would

  • I dunno about all the conflab surrounding "global warming", there are so many conflicting "truths" about the issue, but we do pollute the planet. To concentrate all our effort on one pollutant ie carbon, seems a bit narrow minded. But then i'm no scientist.

  • hello long hair.

  • it's actually proven that it's global climate change... just google it; it's proven that the earth's going through cycles, and we're probably impacting it (with all the crap we happen to be doing), but maybe not quite as insanely as we believe... in fact, in some places around the world, it seems the climate is tipping to other top-charting temperatures--- GETTING COLDER! no matter what, it's true, we need to reform and change the way we impact the world. :]]]]]

  • even if the ice caps melted, the water levels wouldn't change because there would still be the same amount of water as there was ice, so nothing new will have come out of it. plus there are no penguins in the arctic, so WHATS THE BLOODY PROBLEM?

  • Global warming can, to coin a phrase, suck my cock!

-sorry for the hatefulness there but I am a bit fed up with people going on about it.

when it comes to the problem of deforestation and the dwindling of fossil fuels I have a serious and clear solution and its called Hemp. Using hemp for things you typically use other things for (anything from paper to car fuel) will save the planet and I slap the face of anyone who disagrees

  • You hit the nail on the head

  • I love your enthusiasm. You make a great point
