alot of people saying to bring in a third umpire these days for situations like this which would be a good idea but like in cricket and nrl really obvious decisions will be referred just because the third umpire is there and i personally think it will take alot of the excitement and passion out of afl, just let it be, the amount of situations/decisions like this that happen through a season of football is so minor its not worth worrying about
