Monster Hunter Tri - Great Sword Tutorial

Here's a video of me demonstrating the great sword. You always want to be repositioning yourself so you can safely swing the sword around. Try to land a level 3 charge at a bad time, and you'll get punished!

My gear is:
Full blademaster Qurupecco gemmed to have sharpener (it was unnecessary)
Golem Blade

The resulting skills are:
Defense Up (s)
Evasion +1
Recovery Items Inc.
Sword Sharpener (from decoration)
Perception (From Jewel)

BTW Dissonance the trick to the flash bomb is to throw it the direction the monster is looking at, not directly at the monster itself.

@overminding It used to be, but the range of flash bombs has been drastically reduced in Tri.

Did you ever have any problems getting the Rising Slash to work. A + X doesn't seem to do anything but the Side Slash.

I've noticed in all your videos that you have a larger health bar then me. Is that due to youtube/your set up, or is that something you get via armour, or decorations?

@Craigus1337 You have to eat at the felyne kitchen. Usually meat+anything will give you a health boost.
