Has science made religion obselete? Many people make this claim, but if anything, there is more reason to believe in God than ever because of science.

So you're talking more like a Catholic, so if I just blurt out "praise god" then I'm a Christian & able to go to heaven just like that? Well, what about all those people you've been reading in the bible then? Abraham, Moses, Job, Ruth, Esther, & all those people, aren't they actually working to get to heaven? Working by being good, humility, hospital & such? I've heard this BS from every single missionaries I've met, just so they could say a totally opposite thing tomorrow

A Christian told me, bad feelings & negative emotions will be stripped from us, & that's it. We don't feel that because it was taken away. I think that points out the flawness of your god. So your god cursed us, split us apart & force us to kill each other, & instills negative perceptions upon us so that 1 day can send down an avatar & make we think we owe something. If it will be taken away, I'd rather not joining your heaven, blinding of perceptions is a disgusting act.

Glorified bodies never include that, so no, our way of thinking & such still remains intact in your heaven. It would be more like living in a community where most people has the same way of thinking for the most part. Still that doesn't even explain about Lucifer, so it seems your god will rule with iron fist, whoever sees otherwise will be banished to hell. So all I can see is you'll live & praise out of fear, does that even worth the price of immortality?

I never said that we need to work to get to heaven. In fact, it is only because of what Jesus has done for us that we can ever get to heaven. I said that if we are saved then it will show in how we live our lives, but our works have no value towards our salvation. Salvation is a gift from God through Jesus Christ. Please don't waste it.

There is such a thing as objective perfection, and God is capable of creating it. We may not be able to imagine what that kind of perfection would be like, but that doesn't mean that He isn't capable of making that.

Im not sure where you get the idea that we wouldnt be self-aware. Right now, on this earth our feelings conflict with each other. You cannot have something good without having something bad. You cant have fulfillment without having to work hard and suffer. You are right about that, but that only applies to this world. That doesnt apply to heaven. God is capable of creating a perfect world w/out any imperfection. How He will do it, I dont now, but He is capable of doing it

So your section of Christianity believes you need to work in heaven? See? My friend's section of Christianity believes otherwise. Mostly they believe you won't need to do anything. The only "work" I can think of is how you're just a messenger & a soldier. Then you have to answer to your other 8 superiors. Here to the question, when humanity cease to exist, all of you will lose your job. I can see your god will rage campaigns against hell just for fun.

1 of the many things I hate about Christianity. Perfection is attainable, it depends on each & every individual's perception. For me, perfection is imperfection, as they need to rely on each other. Just like now, if there's no non Christians, you wouldn't want to be a Christian. With an existence of those aggressive atheists & other religions or pagans keeps you in that path you believe to be perfect. If we don't have this discussion, you wouldn't value your faith so dearly.

Simple, you get a new body which strips you off feelings, and you're constantly feed on the fruit & water of life. But much of your writings suggests you're still capable of emotions but not self aware. Only 1 angel has self aware & I believe you know his name & what did your god done to him. Remember, we all have our own definition for "perfection" it doesn't matter if that heaven is "perfect". Just like communism, thought to be perfect but failed in practical way.

  • @KubernetePirata

    Part II

What I'm saying is that perfection is unattainable. It is impossible. That is why we need Jesus. We try our best to follow God's law, but ultimately it is God who must save us. I know there are a lot of different groups out there, but the important thing is to focus on Christ. He is Christianity. What people do today does not change what He did for us on the cross. Please don't let such things distract you from the most precious gift of salvation.
