National Day of Silence is Friday, April 17th (tomorrow)... so show your support for gays by echoing the silence they face everyday by choosing to be physically slient tomorrow.

This song is about this guy I had a crush on who I thought might've been a closet gay, and I couldn't keep silent any longer about my feelings for him, so I wrote him a note... and I never got a reply back. Our friendship ended abruptly. I took a chance, and wasn't even told "No"... there was simply no answer from him. I'll never know if he ever liked me like that or not. He remains silent towards me.

i love this song, but the story behind it makes it so sad. it's so weird, because i live in the netherlands and being gay is here like normal, and to see that in some countrys people cant be theirselfs because they are gay, makes me confused. i still dont get why people cant be theirselfs, because other people say its not good. i hope it will change some day and everybody can be theirselfs no matter what.
