- Ian Knighton - Australia (D.O.B: 3/08/1994). I have my parents consent to enter this competition, as well as everyone who appears in my video.
-- I have sent a written letter to Sony London.

Hey guys, what can I say other than wow. This was so much fun to make, it is my first time ever trying to edit a music video. Talk about the amount of strange looks I got from people who were walking down the hallways haha! I was trying to keep this video quite funny and light-hearted, which I hope people find :D The day before I started filming the 'school' scenes I was at the beach and my left knee was cut open by a surfboard. I could barely walk without limping but I hopefully don't seem to in the video :).

I didn't have any audio interface equipment although I will be looking into getting something soon. I used my Sony HDR SR11 and Rode Videomic for the 'studio' recording. My current guitar is an Epiphone Les Paul Standard. I was running it through a Crate GT30 30W amp.

I am so grateful to everyone that has been a part of this. My music and drama teachers helped out a lot with letting me use the schools drama space for filming the 'live' version. A huge shout-out to my friends, especially those who starred as the 'nerds' in the video. It was hilarious watching them tuck their pants into their socks after school! I did not expect many people to turn up to the 'live' shooting of the video; so I was overwhelmed by the amount that came down during their lunch break to support me.

I hope that this video is as entertaining as it was directing/editing and acting in :D! A huge thanks to my friend Dan who helped me film the entire video.

Once again, without Justin Sandercoe, Sony and of course AC/DC, this would never have happened. I am also looking forward to seeing Iron Man II soon!
So a big thankyou to you all!

Good Luck to everyone in the competition!!!
-Ian

  • very ilogical video

  • @rubenalogia2 First, your spelling is illogical, and secondly, this video wasn't intended to have a thick intricate plot, designed for the mind of intellectually superior individuals such as yourself. It was just a bit of fun, to enter in a competition. Oh, and judging by your video's - I don't think it is your place to be critiquing people's work without proper explanation. Have a nice day now :-)

  • I hope u won or at least did very well (or are going to win/do very well)! nice job man
