  • What type of yarn are you using and what size needles? I think I want to make this scarf! Love the video!

I'm using Mini Dina by Silk City. It's not available at retail stores, but I have some I could sell you. It's $15 per pound. I have one color listed on my Ravelry stash page, but have cones of other colors, including the ones I used for the scarf.. It's a cotton/rayon with a beautiful sheen. It's similar in weight to a fingering yarn. I used 2 ends together. Let me know if you'd like to buy some by e-mailing me. thanks.

  • Hi Judy,

What type of yarn (fabric content and weight) are you using? It looks really nice and silky.

    Thanks so much.

it;s Mini Dina from Silk City. I don't think it's available in stores, but I have some that I could sell. It's cotton/rayon. the rayon has a sheen. it's similar in weight to a baby or fingering yarn. I love it. thanks for writing. look for me on facebook.

  • I am wanting to knit a scarf for our city's project for the super bowl. Is it possiblle to do this pattern in two colors such a royal blue and white? How would I got about switching out the two colors? Thanks for your videos. They're my favorite to watch as I'm a "newbie"

  • @111904bailey

it would look very nice if you used one color for one stitch and the other color for the other stitch. you would switch the colors for every square. thanks for watching my videos. look for me on facebook too.

did you give it a try?

  • @SoGoGal

sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I'm using 2 strands of Mini Dina. It's a thin cotton/rayon blend. It's not sold in stores. It's similar in weight to baby yarn. The rayon gives it a nice sheen. Please keep watching and look for me on facebook too.
