@113Gems helmets had to be eased into the peloton... not the whole stage had to be ridden with a helmet, at first only downhills and spring finishes. The helmets was stored in the cars when not obligated, then they obligated helmets into all the flat stages and i think in 2005 or 2006 all the races must be ridden with helmets

How come they were riding without helmets? I thought they were compulsory from at least the late 90s.

I like watching this kind of documentary better than the Tour itself!

until? i think you mean since. it is true,now they have one of the biggest budgets, but this wasn't so last year and the years before. and every team has had complications with doping and what so on, that doesn't mean the whole team is taking doping. i still have hope that there are clean cyclists, and i truly believe that a big part of csc is riding clean

think about it. tyler hamilton the former leader of team csc caught doping. and the last leader of team csc ivan basso suspended for operasjon purto and now frank schleck was involved in something. I think riis is doping his riders. and team csc is the richest cyclingteam in the sport until desember 2008.

what csc does without money is just amazing. riis might have taken doping(like everyone else in his time). atleast he admits it. and he creates the best riders!!

CSC is the best team ever
They always win the overall team classification
they have the best bikes (cervelos rock)
They just dont have as much money as Astana or Quik step or Discovery and stuff
