"The Blue Sky of Ljubljana" by Sojiro

Hey Guys!

It seems like another life since I loaded my last video...life has gotten very, very busy for me! Fortunately I never got around to recording a few songs I learned a while back, so I have some things I can record even in my greatly diminished spare time!

Though it's pretty easy for me to play now, I'd have to say this is the most difficult piece I've performed yet. It's fast, the timing's a bit weird, and it has several quick chamber transitions, but it's also a LOT of fun to play. The first time I attempted it, I literally thought it was beyond my potential, lol...This recording isn't perfect due to aforementioned time constraints, but it definitely shows that you're capable of more than you think! @CFood0 Sry man, I learned it by ear, I don't have any tabs...the fingerings on radius226's performance of this one are pretty clear though, I used his vid to help me figure it out.

@ Turbo - yah I didn't even know it was a real place until I went looking for pics, lol.

@ Sarume - Yah this song was actually written for ocarina! I didn't even realize it was Sojiro until I looked up the composer for the vid, lol.

@ Jon - Dude you can actually play this on a 12 hole! I just thought it was easier on the double, but if you look up radius226 and watch his vid for the STL competition, he plays it on a 12 hole (and he plays it better than I do, lol).

Awesome! Brings back the memories... yeah, that song is a lot of fun to play--you took the hard way, doing it on the multi-chamber, but it definitely adds to the fun. Nice work on that chamber-switch section and on the 16th note section.
