Chasing Pavements ; A Nelena Story 1x02

Selena: Fine.. *she rolls her eyes and walks over to the limo*
Three boys step out of the Limo and tons of girls start to scream crazily.

Selena: Oh please..
Demi: Well, Amelia I wouldnt be so pessimistic.. *she points to the boys*
Selena: *she finally sees the boys clearly *
Demi: Hey guys! *she hugs all of them*
Kevin: Hi Demi! And.. Demis friend?
Joe: Hi Dems.. *he winks at her*
Nick: *is silent* Sup
Selena: Uhm Im... Amelia.
[Kevin & Joe shake her hand]
Selena: *she reaches to shake Nicks hand but he just passes her and heads inside the school without even noticing shes there* Uhm.. alright?
[Joe and Kevin laugh]
Kevin: Sorry about that..
Demi: Uh yeah.. thats Nick.
Selena: He acts more like a Dick than a Nick
Joe: *he cracks up*
Demi: *she covers her mouth* Wow, youre really.. not afraid to say anything, are you Amelia?
Selena: Something like that.. Im opinionated. So who are you guys?
Joe: The Jonas Brothers. Boy band. Millionaires. But were just normal guys.
Selena: Oh.. never heard of you. *she smiles*
Kevin: Thank goodness.
Selena: Youre not some rude, stuck-up celebrity band thatll probably split up in about a year, are you?
Joe: I hope not. Were brothers.
Kevin: Well Nicks kinda rude and stuck-up. But ignore him.
Selena: [she thinks: Yeah Jeez no kidding]
Kevin: So where are you from?
Selena: Uh Austrailia!
Demi: What? I thought you said you were from Texas!
Joe: No, no her name sounds Australian. *he looks at Kevin* Remember my old girlfriend Amelia? *he shakes his head trying not to think about her*
Selena: Well.. Im from Texas.. *she conjures up something fake* But I was born in Australia.
Joe: Sounds good.

They all walk into the school. Selena walks up to the office to get her schedule with everyone else. She tries to cover up her schedule so they wont notice her real name and her place of birth on the schedule. Keeping up my new name is gonna be hard.. I hope no one finds out the truth. she thinks.

Demi: Awesome we have like.. almost every class together! Ill show you around. We wont be seeing Joe and Kevin much because theyre in a different grade than us. But we sit with them at lunch
Selena: We?
Demi: You want to sit with us dont you?
Selena: Uh.. sure why not..
Demi: Yay! *she claps*
Selena: Are you in the welcoming committee?
Demi: huh?
Selena: I mean.. youre just so friendly and peppy.
Demi: Uh, no! But we really should make a welcoming committee! Oh! And I could e the President! *she starts thinking of ideas*
Selena: So how does your personality match with your whole grunge, black, and red, black nailpolish, dark make-up look?
Demi: Well, you know Im not always like this. Its really hard to keep up a happy mood *she sighs* I kinda hate it.
Selena: So you were faking this whole time??
Demi: Yeah.. pretty much. *she sighs*
Selena: You dont have to pretend around me, you know.
Demi: Thank you SOO muchHold on I needa get my books for first period.. you me to stay with you?
Selena: No I think Im good Ill find my way around to see how this place works. *she smiles*

Demi leaves and Selena starts walking through the hallways.

Nick: Selena?
Selena: *she quickly responds not remembering that her name was Amelia* Yeah? I mean.. [she thinks: oh crap..] Whyd you call me Selena? Thats not my name.
Nick: I know youre name is Selena.
Selena: Uh, yeah! Its my middle name.
Nick: Then whyd you say its not your name? *he smiles feeling smug*
Selena: *she starts walking away from him but he follows* What do you want from me?
Nick: I want to know why youre lying.
Selena: Im not! My names Amelia Selena Gomez. And I was born in Texas.. and from Australia! Gosh, what else do you want to know from me?!
Nick: You really suck at this. You told Joe and Kevin that you were born in Australia and from Texas. You dont even have an Australian accent.. *he rolls his eyes*
Selena: And how do you know what an Australian accent sounds like?!
Nick: Me and my brothers have wanted to go to Australia ever since I was 3, Joe was 6, and Kevin was 8. And we went there last year. And we even wrote a song called Australia So can you tell the truth now?
Selena: *she turns around* Why do you even care about me?! You didnt even say hi to me outside 20 minutes ago
Nick: Well..
