I don't really think they're trying to recreate or surpass refused, they know what refused was and I think they're proud of it but realize that its in the past.

@alphaguitar2 That was my assesment of it too. I mean It is well documented Refused were properly burned out, and the tour of their last album just got too much for them for many reasons I am sure. Hardly suprosing they choose not to go back. Also the guys were fans of lots of musics. It is as you say, Refused is the past and they know it. Good as it was. This is something else to stand on it's own right. Although their political views are still throughout it, and everything else they did.

@killthenazis742 yeah, well actually, the music's quite still the same, its just that, refused's more epic, more original (since they're really the original) but tis better, tis alright, as long as its mr. lyxzen's screaming, it'll still have a piece of refused in it, at least
