@GUITARFREAK123345 whirlpools are caused by currents or hot and cold eddies hitting each other. ussally they are about 12 feet deep.

@riverratwhitewater I am doing business in the DRC.
The Congo river is a few thousand feet from my house.
This river is amazing. Kayaking would be nearly impossible.
I'm thinking of doing eco-tourism down here.
would be so profittable

Most time they spit ya out but it gives ya a fright..I think they caused by currents that have different directions and underwater rocks creating mad eddies..usually wen it sucks ya down thats enough to upset the pool and it spits ya out...most times

@luckliberty Yeah, right. National Geographic somehow got stuck with filming a bunch of sucky amateurs. Amazing that they fell for it.
