Excerpts from the experimental documentary "United States of Afgahanistan" by director Pål Hollender from Sweden. Filmed and edited according to the 9 rules for documetary film making set by film maker Lars von Trier. A documentary filmed accordingly is called a Dogumentary. "United States of Afghanistan" was the first Dogumentary ever to be produced. It was finished 2004 and the duration is 58 min.

  • god bless ali, he wished to become a doctor, i think he never made it.. he though afghanistan has changed, but never happened, so sad. if you find him i ll rebuild his house with my own money. thanks for uploading this videos

  • @vallery75 This is part of the documentary "United states of afghanistan". This was shot in 2002 and Ali was 9 years old. This year they went back and made the the follow up "finding Ali". They found him but after a decade of war he did not like westerners and he would not talk to them. The mentality towards westerners have changed for the worse since 2002. The project ended early when the film maker pål hollender was shot and had to return to sweden.
