Adam Lambert finally confirms his sexuality in the new issue of Rolling Stone (on stands tomorrow).

"I don't think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I'm gay," the American Idol runner-up says.

Look back at the Season 8 Idol's finale most unforgettable moments.

"I'm proud of my sexuality," continues the rocker, who was photographed holding hands with interior designer Drake LaBry earlier this month. "I embrace it. It's just another part of me."

a year ago me and my aunt were watching his american idol audition an im just like hes gay and then my aunt said how do u know? i just shrugged and then a year later she emailed me saying he really was gay

Ever since his american idol audition I kinda knew he was gay and when he came out it didnt suprise me one bit. I dont care if hes gay, straight, bisexual whatever he's still an amazing singer who will continue to live on and make amazing music for the fans. sexuality shouldnt matter at all cause in the end we all are human who have feelings, loved ones, and family.

I believe in God, and I'm straight, The reason why I respect Adam is because he has confidence!
