False. Slice through does not mean slice in half. If you picture the rock as a sphere, and the centre as (0,0,0), you get six "corners" (-1,0,0), (0,-1,0), (0,0,-1), (1,0,0), (0,1,0) and (0,0,1). You could then make a cut that would go through (-1,0,0), (0,0,0), (0,1,0) and (1,0,0) but still leave (0,-1,0), (0,0,-1) and (0,0,1). So you would cut through it, but it would still be 1 piece, and may very well still be the biggest rock.
