He created one of the greatest things in human history The internet was called bulletin boards back then. There was no websites to browse, just text documents to send VIA email, and that was pretty much it. And before people say, aren't the internet and world wide web the same thing? No they are not. Internet came out in the early 70's, it's the process in which computers communicate. World wide web came out in 1991, and changed the world forever. Giving us websites and internet as it is today.
