Chuck Smith & Rick Warren Give Accolades to Greg Laurie Harvest 2009

This video was taken On Stage at Harvest Crusade 2009. Rick Warren and Chuck Smith continued to sit with each other and laugh it up. This truly is heartbreaking for many who have held that Calvary Chapel took a strong stand against the Heresy of Rick Warren. Let this be a sign to you, Many shall fall away and depart from the truth. At this point Calvary Chapel's across the nation and the world should be in deep prayer for Chuck Smith. Sadly the following day Chuck Smith Sr. had an opportunity to clarify and correct his position of taking the stage with Rick Warren and he did not. Why do ppl defend Smith sitting with Warren & use Jesus sat with Sinners, yet U say Warren is 'a brother in the Lord?' Can't be the same. He's either a Sinner unsaved and Smith is giving him the Gospel, or Warren is a WOLF & Smith is a deceived sheep or ...dare I...a wolf as well? Rick states he's had a 20+ year relationship w/ Laurie (that means Smith as well) so his own mouth confessed the leaven has set in. PDL is NOT doctrinally sound. Rick is not preaching Salvation in Christ alone at Davos

@cd3dnw How does a CC pastor Denounce Rick Warren but NEVER speak of Greg Laurie's deep and lengthy relationship,or the fact that Chuck embraced him on Stage? I attended a CC where the Sr.Pastor denounced Rick Warren, KNEW about this Harvest appearance, and NEVER rebuked PapaSmith and went further in always speaking highly of Chuck Smith and other ECUMENICAL pastors such as Billy Graham. Some CC Sr.Pastors have a loyalty to Smith that is idolatrous, it's sick, and it's delusion 101.

@mijadedios I have been praying about confronting my pastor about this. We just did that about other pastor's introduction of David Yonggi Cho's false teachings at a mission's meeting. Surprisingly (and this is the first time this has ever happened in ANY ministry) they thanked us for seeing this and corrected the pastor involved. I know they think that they are immune to any false teachings, which is very dangerous.

look what it all comes down to is do you know Jesus or better yet does He know you!!! Forget all your doctrinal arguing back and forth you had just better develope and be very sure of your own standing with Jesus being known by Him and having a personal relationship with Him. Many will say unto Him on that great day Lord, Lord, Lord but will hear Him say depart from me I never Knew you. I'm so tried of the church killing its own over what each demonmination considers to be inportant

@GreggDuncanMcLean1 God's word is important.His word is the line in the sand.If what Calvary Chapel preaches goes against the word of God then how are they different or deserving of more grace than the Catholic Church?Both have popes; teach some truth but some error& have saved ppl in it who won't leave 4 fear of man.Those who honor God w/lip service will stay & those whom he has called will find themselves set apart as in 2Cor.6:17 & searching as in Amos 8:11-12.Yet He will Comfort them.

@JesusTubeUSA So true. Its when the enemy has everyone worrying about everyone else and what they are doing or not doing that he gets his foothold. I used to be a bickering and critical Christian. God doesnt need my help in defending His word.

Chuck Smith took over for the Holy Spirit and institutionalized thousands of God's sheep. This man has the spiritual blood of God's lambs on his hands and he will answer for it. The hero's of the Church are actually the enemy of it.

Dont let my username fool you i am a christian. Both rick warren and chuck smith are false teachers. But the music at a purpose driven or seeker sensitive church is fantastic and has a better sucess rate at reaching people than any calvary chapel ever has or does!

@JesusTubeUSA When i said why associate yourself with a new ager I meant Chuck Smith associating with Rick Warren.  It's like you read just a piece of my comment and ignored the rest. I already understand what you are trying to say about Jesus hanging around sinners. Jesus has not called to the righteous but sinners. Hell, Chuck had drug addicts, hippies and all kinds of sinners like me when he first started his church up. Thats not the point. I made my point on my previous comment.

@JesusTubeUSA Why associate yourself with a new ager? This is Chuck Smith we are talking about. MANY look up to him. Christians, especially new ones, will think this new age doctrine is okay and will be deceived like MANY other "christians" already are. People call themselves christians but believe there are many paths to God. If there eyes are not opened to the truth they WILL go to hell for eternity. In proverbs it also tells you that "bad company corrupts good character."

@eph112joephil I sat in CCCM for 20 years. The teaching of CC drove me OUT of the church! By Gods grace I am now a Lutheran for 14 years. Law separated from Gospel. Chuck still doesn't preach and teach the difference. In non denominationalism,"Free Will" is lord. It becomes a religion of 'biblical life coaching' instead of preaching Christ for salvation and freedom from the law.

I attended CC Ft. Lauderdale, still go from time to time for my brother who is a babe in Christ and was saved there. Bob Coy is OK, but when I learned about Chuck here, I was livid.

It pays to dig and study for yourself, unfortunately they are some who embrace Smith and his twisting of the scripture for dear life.

Like the Word says in Hosea 4: like people, like priest...

i am finished with calvary chapel and all of its pastors.

i truly believe there are just a very very few pastors left that speak truth and are not deceived ....too bad we lost david wilkerson...but he lives on thru his messages, he spoke out against this type of thing...never fearing...only trusting the Lord.

God have mercy on Chuck Smith and the others that do not denounce this heretical teaching!..
