  • It was 1987....did you expect this show to be on bluray or something?

  • Amebix took inspiration from Motörhead (and to a lesser extent Lemmy-era Hawkwind), Black Sabbath, and Venom, combined with an ethos and worldview akin to Crass. They were also influenced by various post-punk and Gothic rock bands, including Public Image Ltd., Bauhaus, Joy Division, and especially Killing Joke.

  • Amebix were blinding at this time. Brings back memories. New CD is great too.

  • AMEBIX WOULDNT HAVE EXISTED IF IT WASNT FOR MY UNCLE EDDIE,he taught the guitarist to play banjo back in '76-stig originaly wanted to play in a bluegrass/skiffle stylee but the other members would have none of it-though it is a little known fact that there is a demo out there, with bluegrass versions of 'sunshine ward' also 'progress' with an instrumental solo harmonica demo version of 'carnage'-flux and spiderleg records completely refused-point blank to release them on vinyl on-tossers! ;)

  • @budalo Amebix have said many times that they don't rate Venom at all and that Venom have had no influence on them. Venom suck.

  • Crust punk is not dead

  • Amebix rocked, it's scientifically proven.

  • YAP!

  • @ngc05567 You're a fucking idiot

  • @ngc05567 WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU YAPPIING ABOUT??
