  • I actually met Anderson when I was 14 at his book signing. I told him that he was my role model and how I want to follow into his journalistic footsteps. He responded the same thing, "Maybe we'll work together someday." This was five years ago. And here I am now, interning with the government, writing endless stories and articles, still having that passion for journalism. Passion is what makes a person stand out. Anderson Cooper, I WILL work alongside you in the journalism world! =D

  • thanks anderson. I am 15 and also an aspiring journalist, and you have inspired me with all the great reporting that you do. It's really great to hear your advise! Good luck with the new daytime show!

  • good advice. i would also recommend, when you go to college, not JUST studying journalism but also studying another subject you're interested in--art, economics, chinese, underwater basket-weaving, whatever. it really helps professionally but also deepens your understanding of the world. everything is connected, and as a journalist you'll need to be able to connect those dots.

  • Why yes Anderson, I would love to work with you ;)
