I much prefer them to 1200/1210s too. They're a lot cheaper than Technics now, and if you're not bothered about second hand stuff then you can find some brilliant deals on eBay.

I use vestax PDX2000. I like them better than technics, they got a ton of torque and a really high platter. price is comparable to techs though ;(
