The Morgan is one of the earliest horse breeds developed in the United States.[1] Tracing back to the stallion Figure, later named Justin Morgan after his best-known owner, the breed excels in many disciplines, and is known for its versatility.

  • Where is this music from?? I love it

  • @Natemacdonald100 Music is from the movie "Rudy" it's the song entitled "Tryouts"

  • I love Morgans. I really don't like how they're Arabian-izing the Morgan more and more now though. They were extremely beautiful the way they used to be. A lot of them just remind me of Arabs now. I like the stocky ones with the thick necks and muscular bodies. Great video!

  • @BarebackRider13 you should check out my video The "Original" Morgan Horse. It's completely filled with the "old" style morgan. I completely agree with you, the Morgan is becoming more and more refined, we're moving away from our original breed and conforming more to "refinement" when refinement isn't even a Morgan thing at all.

  • i own a mare that is 11 generation form figur and i hate the crap that the morgan people have been doing

  • @vmorgans You may want to check out my new video entitled "The Original Morgan Horse" I think you'd really like it :)

  • @BarebackRider13 yes I agree and some look too gaited like they want a walker or something.I like the old types myself.

  • @GoldenOakFarm Then get a Quarter Horse--you've just described the perfect Quarter Horse. Some of the stockier Morgans have terrible toplines--tails set too low they pass for a Quarter Horse. Your "Murphy" though was quite a looker and perfect topline--pure Morgan in every way.

  • Did you notice!?! No white above the knee on any of those gorgeous Morgans--not a dun or spotted horse in the whole video. Good god, what have they done to our Morgans who changed the breed standards in the 90's--I came back to find they opened the breed to every backyard breeder doing who-knows-what behind the barn! eeek!

  • I had a Morgan/Arabian cross -close-coupled, the best gaits, light and airy. He was borrowed as a polo pony at one point. Excellent cross.

  • oh my god!!!!

    i love this horse!!!!!!!!!!! T.T

  • Aren't Morgan Horses just AMAZING! I love Morgan Horses
