in my oppion both Mary and Kathrine blamed the wrong person for the devorce between henry and kathrine ANNE WAS NOT the one who vowed to love honnor and charish kathrine till death do he part that was all Henry
-
Eh? Why be pro one and anti the other? Though in my opinion Anne was in the wrong for agreeing to be the one Henry replaced Catherine with and for being so spiteful and vindictive towards Catherine and Mary, I can hardly say she was evil or at fault. As for Elizabeth, she was rightfully Queen after Mary, and though "Good Queen Bess" and her "Goldon age" were not as perfect as propaganda would have us believe, they were still pretty successful and popular in the long run.

@astrofabio68 for a while yes I would but if we had a child I tell him you Dont have to love me as your wife but you WILL respect me as the mother of your child

@Twinkle988 Sorry DNova comment was from me :) Husband forgot to sign out of his account. Oops.

@Twinkle988 Really? Oh thanks I've been trying to place that scene forever. Thank you :)

@PrincessKarrah She didn't have to be the stereotypical wicked step-mother, though. She was horrific in her own right to Mary. Some of Henry's own actions were blamed on Anne, though, so that must be said.

@kendahke Oh she does. Mary was no worse than her father (who horrifically abused her, as well as did Anne, who is a living proof of the fairy-tale 'wicked step-mother') or her sister. Elizabeth got lucky that she could reign in relative - I don't know if it's the right word, but 'peace'.
What was that scene where Mary was looking down at Anne? What episode was that from?

Thanks for commenting.
You're probably right, but as sympathetic as Mary is portraited in this serie it is also very difficult what went on in the heads of people 500 years ago so it is not always possible to judge their actions.
