In December of 2005 I received the MTH Premier PRR D16d American (4-4-0) steam locomotive. This is a model of a high strutting late 19th/early 20th century steam locomotive, complete with high domes. From the large 80" drivers, you know this was designed for passenger service. It's a small locomotive as were most locomotives of this time period. It's a highly detailed model that runs very well. In this True HD 1080p video, I show it hauling a set of late 19th century passenger cars, which is very much how you would have found it in real life. Please visit my web site -- http://www.toyrains1.com -- to see lots more videos and photos of both real and model trains.

  • The Cannonball Express on Petticoat Junction was actually a 4-6-0 Ten Wheeler-type steam locomotive built by Rogers (right here in New Jersey) in 1891. Same era, different type of locomotive.
