The clip is from a BBC Look Stranger documentry of 1975 called "The Steam-Powered Vicar" of which I have a copy of the full programme. Also featured are his model railway and various steam tractors and rollers that were housed for friends at his Rectory.

Nyahahah, love the Pecket saddletanker. her proportions make the track look broad-gauge

Beautiful saddle tank engine. BTW: The Music on this video is "Bongo Rock" by the Incredible Bongo Band.

Yes - it's literally 'just round the corner' we usually went there from Cadeby after a visit, Really surprised to see this clip - I never got to visit when he was alive.

Whoa! Teddy Boston on the footplate of P2012/41 (chugging along to a 70's beat!) Loved it! Where is the clip from? A few years ago, I found a clip of the Rev. Boston's model railway layout in their digital archives (Railway Vicar').

no idea where this is from.. it is from a programme all about this line (i dont know which line it is though) but the video ran out few min. after this clip ends.. The start of the programme talks about how this group of volenteers brought the line from BR and their stock.. Soon or later someone will recognise the line and comment..

It's the Battlefield Line (Market Bosworth). The Rev. kept his Peckett there for a while.

ahh. this programme is all about the group of volenteers rescuing the line from BR and setting up the Batllefield line as a working railway
